I am fine with competitions. It depends on it, who is the judging panel.
If it's a high professional panel, with producers, theatre holders and
Legends, I am fine to attend.

If there is judging by taste and friends, that not. That's why I am
always looking to have professionals at the jury, who is able to judge
CRo BURLESQUE FESTIVAL
on a level, without putting the own taste into the view.
Festivals and Shows are the productions, I would prefer now. I have
done a lot of competitions.

Honestly, I have fun on stage, sharing my art, so I enjoy being on
stage. And if there is a high level of performers, I'm super happy to
join the Competition, but more to share the stage.

-Tell us about your great Cro Burlesque Cabaret project
-CM: Every year, end of May, the Croatian Burlesque and Cabaret
Festival is taking place. Our venue is a ship in the harbour of Rijeka
City. With this place, I have created a safe and respectful place,
where performers can share their art of Burlesque and Variety.
This Festival is also a competition, where we look forward, to not let
anybody feel the pressure of the competition.
It's a way to have a bunch of professionals having a look at their work. As everyone who knows me, knows that I
am very strict by choosing the performers for this festival. The two main subjects I am watching for is: to have a high
class performer and that this performer is a good and respectful person. These people share 3 days together, and I
want to have a positive mood and a good atmosphere there. The CBaCF is not setting the preference to have famous
names, the preference is, to have a killer act, be different and strong on stage. We are also looking forward to give 1
to 3 newcomers the chance to perform at the festival. As I knew hoew hard, the start into the burlesque business was,
especially if you're not known. I want to open doors for performers to be seen, and to be accepted and booked. We are
a community and should support each other. Some have forgotten what burlesque means. I want to keep this up and
do something for our community. That's why everyone who is picked to perform at the CBaCF, is already a winner and
for is a big shining star. Oh, I could talk so much more about this, but the best is, to come and dive into this experience.
No matter, as a performer or as a guest.

-What do we expect from Celeste de
Moriae for 2023?
-CM: In 2023 I'll travel and perform at some
productions, two of them are bookings in
Croatia.
The rest will be again international. For the
most of the year, I will concentrate on my
old and new productions I run in Croatia.

I'm also booked as the art director for a Variety Show in Germany, what is
called "The Glamorous Stage Stories". This is planned to run every year.
So I am putting now the cast together, and in November 2023 we will present PHOTOS
it in the Stuttgart area. gUIDo_RICCI

I'll be also available as mentor or trainer, to support performers in their work,
to get more presence, confidence and to make their acts better. I want to
share, help, and help performers get more visible and stronger. As I think,
supporting each other is helping us all, as fighting each other.
