-FDF: Clichés and stereotypes is what makes Burlesque
work. You want to mess around with the fantasies of your
audience and you want them to get the picture during the
five minutes of your act.

So start with something they are accustomed to, lure them
into your world or plot, play with their minds and finally meet
or don’t meet their expectations.

-It is said that burlesque frees you…..what do you feel
that you have freed yourself from?
-FDF: It allows you to be independent from peoples
judgment

-Tell us about your project “Stuttgart Burlesque
Festival”
-FDF: The Stuttgart Burlesque Festival is an annual
event taking place in Stuttgart´s biggest variety theatre
"Friedrichsbau Variete". It features two nights of high-end
Burlesque showacts and after 8 years of existence it ranks
among the top five european Burlesque Festivals.

-What is Fanny di Favola preparing for us in 2023?
-FDF: 2023 started very nice for me. My workshops are always sold out and I receive interesting show requests. I
will co-produce more and new show events this year and my first showgirl travels have already been confirmed and
booked.
